Update: the synagogue is ours!

Pending contractual details-like becoming members-the synagogue where we want to get married is ours! The couple who had reserved our date chose a different date for their wedding, so our July 3 date opened back up. After kicking myself for not calling the temple sooner, the timing actually ended up being very fortuitous because the event coordinator knew I wanted the date when it became available. Yay Yay Yay!

We booked the venue without having the ceremony details arranged, and it was kind of a gamble. Luckily, the risk paid off and my dream wedding is now coming to life!
